Ideas are only the beginning.

For nearly two decades, Anoop’s work has centered on a simple belief: meaningful change begins by listening closely, bringing people together and turning ideas into action.

Project L.O.V.E (Letting Our Voices Empower)

Building opportunity through education.

At 18, Anoop founded Project L.O.V.E. (Letting Our Voices Empower), an initiative focused on education, gender equality and expanding access to opportunity for girls and vulnerable children.

In rural Zambia, Project L.O.V.E. built a primary community school with four classrooms, two offices, a borehole providing clean and safe water, and an outdoor cooking facility serving thousands of meals each month. Beyond education, the project supported healthcare, lunch programs and income-generating skills for the surrounding community.

In 2018, Project L.O.V.E. reached an important milestone: the school was handed over to the local community, placing its future in the hands of the community it was created to serve.

Project H.E.L.L.O. (Helping Everyone Locate Loved Ones)

Reconnecting people with home.

As a teenager, Anoop co-founded Project H.E.L.LO., an initiative created to help people experiencing homelessness in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside reconnect with lost friends and family members across Canada.

Through phone calls, handwritten cards and in-person reunions, the project helped restore connections that had sometimes been lost for years.

To date, Project H.E.L.LO. has facilitated more than 450 reconnections, bringing people back into contact with family members and loved ones across the country.
